Stroke in Woman: Signs and Symptoms

A stroke is also called as a condition when the brain lacks the supply of oxygen, also known as brain attack or cerebrovascular diseases. This condition is similar to the condition of heart attack. This condition takes place when an artery which supplies blood and oxygen to brain is blocked. This results in dying of the cells. A stroke can be mild or severe. A mild stroke has a possibility to get a severe stroke ahead. Therefore it is better to know the symptoms and get it cured.

The following are the some of the reasons for causing the stroke in women:




•   It can be caused due to the obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, alcohol intake, smoking etc. This can be the causes for the women after the age of 55 yrs to 60 yrs.

    Signs and symptoms at early ages:

     You may face the problem of understanding and speaking.
     You will face weakness in limbs and face.
     Vision is distracted due to this.
     Sudden headache with no reasons is the common symptom.
     You loose coordination with the body.
     Chest pain and increase in the heart beats are some common symptoms.
     Fainting can take place.

     You will also feel shortness in breathing and nausea.

If you are suffering from any of these disorders then this can be a reason for the stroke. You need to get it diagnosed by your physician before it is late. Hospitalization or surgery is the best treatment for stroke.

To avoid the stroke you should be healthy and you need to change your lifestyle. Add a healthy diet, maintain weight, blood pressure and avoid smoking and alcoholism. These all help in preventing stroke.
